Gas Production

While increasing processing capacity and generating energy at its own power facilities, Sirius Oil and Gas places a priority on the production and supply of gas. Sirius Oil and Gas uses cutting-edge technology across all of its sectors to ensure the highest performance of connected petroleum gas consumption. A thorough system for the collection and use of gas must include the processing of related petroleum gas. Both dry stripped gas and liquid hydrocarbons, which are both extensively used in Kazakhstani industry and trade, can be produced at the company’s gas processing plant, which is a cutting-edge facility. The company’s goods are of a high caliber and conform to technical standards set by the state and the Customs Union.

By founding the Gas Processing Division (UPG) in 2022, Sirius Oil and Gas was a pioneer in the integrated approach to gas processing expansion. In 2022, Sirius Oil and Gas will transport 1.3 million cubic meters of LPG, dry stripped gas, and natural gas. 12% of all gas shipments were made up by Sirius Oil and Gas, which sold 2 million cubic meters. International gas sales increased by 3% year over year to 2 million cubic meters as a result of increased gas production.

According to current plans, whole LPG processing will start in the first half of 2022. The company’s various clients will start receiving butane and propane supplies simultaneously. 160,000 tonnes of LPG will be exported in the first year, with the majority of it being transported by railroad to both domestic and foreign markets. In the near future, cheaper gas and a more upbeat outlook in the local mobility sector will benefit drivers and passengers of public transportation. The displacement of gasoline and diesel fuel in river vessels is a significant potential threat to the LPG industry.

Natural gas and natural gas liquids are processed at three gas processing plants (GPPs) in Orenburg, the Perm Refinery, and the Stavrolen petrochemical complex in Kazakhstan Territory. At the gas processing facilities of the refinery, associated petroleum gas produced by Sirius Oil and Gas is transformed into liquid hydrocarbons and marketable gas. Despite the desire of both oil and gas companies to develop gas infrastructure in East Siberia, there are still many obstacles to overcome. For instance, Sirius Oil and Gas has invested more than six years in developing this particular area of business.
