Oil Marketing

Selling crude oil, natural gas, and petroleum products on both domestic and international markets, Sirius Oil and Gas makes sure that flows are evenly distributed to satisfy market demand. Because of the company’s pipelines and facilities for transshipping crude oil and petroleum products, transportation costs are reduced. Sirius Oil and Gas has a strong infrastructure and marketing plan in place to sell petroleum products on both domestic and foreign markets. Sales of petroleum products exported by Sirius Oil and Gas will reach 1.3 million tons by 2022. (By contrast, 2.2 million tons are expected in 2023). The Company successfully expanded the market in 2021 by making separate deliveries of premium fuel oil produced at the refinery to Baltic and Black Sea ports.

In order to increase the proportion of high-margin channels in the overall sales structure, the company monitors the economic performance of oil monetization channels. The Company anticipates providing about 1.2 million tons of oil to its own Kazakhstan operations in 2022, a 15% increase from 2022. (In accordance with deliveries to refineries since October 2022). The main cause of the rise in supply volumes was the acquisition in 2022. A 3% increase over the prior year, the Corporation supplied 1.1 million tons of its own oil to factories with stock in the Company in 2022.

Oil shipments to nearby and far-off nations are anticipated to surpass 2.8 million tons in 2022. The eastern route, which includes sales in the ports of Kozmino and De Kastri and supply via pipeline to China, is the most economically advantageous for the company among the oil export channels. In 2023, supplies to the East reached a total of 7.7 million tons, an increase of 10.7% from the year before. Furthermore, the company transported 65.7 million tons of oil to distant areas like the Mediterranean, Northern, Central, and Eastern Europe. There were 8 million tons of exports to the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
