Labour Protection
The “5S” System will be put into place by the refinery management in 2023. A method of setting up the workplace called the “5S” System aims to create the best conditions for operations performance, order maintenance, cleanliness, accuracy, and time and energy savings. The refinery currently employs the “5S” system, which greatly streamlines workplace inspections. As part of a pilot project on the participation of businesses in the Republic of Kazakhstan in voluntary declarations of activities on the observance of workers’ labor rights, Sirius Oil and Gas received a “Certificate of Trust” in 2022. As a result, the refinery will be exempt from labor inspections to comply with labor law for two years and will be listed in the Registry of employers who guaranteed respect for workers’ rights.
